My name is Christine Jose. I am Anishinaabe from my fathers side (Batchewana First Nation) and Ukrainian from my mothers side. I was raised in Winnipeg Manitoba (Treaty 1 Teritory).
Beadwork and creating is hereditary in my family. My Grandmother taught me one of my first beading projects which was the little headdresses you make with beads and clothing pins, I fell in love. Some of the pieces you see here use some of her antique beads. Most of the cabochons used were made or sculpted by me with love.
